A Bible Reading Revival

E100 Challenge Canada

Tragically, few of us really eat the Book. Even in Bible friendly churches there are
many Christians who rarely feast on God’s Word.

Scripture Union is deeply concerned about the ongoing decline in Bible engagement. For
years we’ve been asking God to help us find new ways to invite connections with the
Bible – petitioning God for a Bible reading revival. Our prayers are being answered, in
part, through the birth of the E100 Challenge.

The E100 Challenge began when Whitney Kuniholm selected 50 Old Testament and 50
New Testament passages to read and discuss with his children. To explain and invite
interaction with the passages, Whitney spent many hours in his basement writing The
Essential Bible Guide.

God used the motivation of a father wanting to share the Scriptures with his children and
transformed it into a global Bible engagement campaign. The E100 Challenge is
awakening a rekindled love for God’s Word as 10,000 new people in 15 countries take the
Challenge each month. To find out more about the E100 Challenge in Canada visit www.E100challenge.ca
